Description

The multi-core plastic optical fiber (POF) cable is a high-performance optical transmission solution designed for applications requiring multiple signal channels within a compact and flexible cable structure. Each core is made of high-purity polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and covered with a fluoropolymer cladding to ensure stable light transmission and low attenuation over short distances. The cable can be customized with various outer diameters, core counts (such as 4-core, 9-core, 16-core or more), and jacket materials including PVC, PE, or LSZH to meet different environmental and mechanical requirements.

Additionally, the cable supports optional Kevlar reinforcement for tensile strength and flame-retardant features for safety compliance. With easy termination and simple installation, the multi-core POF cable offers a reliable, cost-effective, and interference-free solution for complex optical networks.
