Description

The MPO–FC OM4 16/24-core multimode breakout cable is a high-performance fiber assembly designed for environments where secure, vibration-resistant connections are essential. One end features an MPO connector for high-density multi-fiber backbone integration, while the other end terminates into multiple FC connectors with threaded coupling for superior mechanical stability. Utilizing OM4 multimode fiber, it delivers extended bandwidth and longer reach than OM3, supporting 40G/100G Ethernet links in short-distance, high-reliability network infrastructures such as telecom test facilities, optical labs, and precision manufacturing networks.

Key Features:

Threaded FC Connector – Ensures secure, anti-vibration connections ideal for industrial and lab environments.

High-Density MPO Interface – Accommodates 16 or 24 fibers in a compact form, enabling efficient trunk-to-device connections.

OM4 High-Bandwidth Fiber – Optimized for 850 nm operation, supporting extended reach up to 150 m at 40G/100G.

Mechanical Stability – Rugged design resists accidental disconnection and maintains optical alignment.

Precision Breakout Structure – Maintains consistent optical performance from backbone to end devices.

Custom Configurations – Fiber count, length, and connector polish can be tailored to specific application needs.
